The passion for good food is innate, and sourcing and selecting the most wholesome raw materials, categorical and essential. This is how carefully Giulia and Elena Monti work to satisfy the “gole pelose” as those with a sweet tooth are called in their native Tuscany, the mother of so many masters of the culinary arts, including grandfather Giacomo Bulleri, from whom they inherited a passion for good food and named the pastry shop after. Pasticceria Giacomo offers various traditional homemade desserts, such fruit tarts, profiteroles and tarte-tatin, as well as specialties like the “bomb” (delicious puff pastry filled with mascarpone cream and wild strawberries), the double chocolate cake or the raspberry millefeuille. To ensure they are always at their very best, some cakes and pastries are filled at the last minute. During the Christmas and Easter periods customers can enjoy our own panettone and traditional “colomba” cake.
